Technical Support and Fiscal Sponsorship
POD provides fiscal sponsorship to emerging harm reduction organizations on a case by case basis. Fiscal sponsorship is when an established nonprofit organization provides fiduciary oversight, financial management, and other services to new projects that have not had the ability or resources to become an independent fiscal entity. In addition POD can help new organizations find resources and connections to become independent and funded.
As of August 2025, we are unable to accept new fiscally sponsored projects. We anticipate reopening our application for new projects in the future. Please click this link to be notified when we reopen our application. We may still be able to provide some technical assistance to grassroots harm reduction programs.

Start Up and Service Gap Funding
POD’s Start Up and Service Gap funding provides limited free harm reduction supplies to new organizations and those experiencing a gap in funding/supplies. The only requirement for these supplies is that you be able to demonstrate need. However these resources are based on donations from the community and are limited as a result so we strongly encourage you to seek funding from other sources as well.
